SWETA AND RISHIKESH

An Agarwal Bride weds a Das Groom from Siliguri: Sweta and Rishikesh
Yes it was a very extravagant Marwari Residential wedding happened with full ‘Tam-Jham’. It was 4 days and 3 nights affair with 8 events and its arrangements. During the wedding planning session the bride’s mother was very particular about the flowers to be used, the color, the fabric etc etc… in detail. So our planning process was elaborately done and did the designs and the flow chart with sketches. So after the long 4 months of planning and meetings, the first event started with our arrangements for the bachelorette party at one of the exclusive venue of a 5 star hotel in Calcutta, for the youngsters. Whereas, in the same time back in our residential property, which was away from the city hustle, the elders were having a ‘Mehfil-e-Gazal’ cum cocktail night at the open lawn. Next day morning started early with a vibrant and colorful Mehendi Carnival in Punjabi style, with a bullet entry of the groom with his bride in full Tashan. The carnival had huge number of stalls, coconut water, chips chana counter, caricature, nail art, hair bedding , parrot card and so on. The event was filled with flash mob performances by the relatives of the bride and groom and also from friends. It was a total surprise for the couple, the event was entertaining. In the evening it was Engagement ceremony followed by the Sangeet, and after the program it was a musical night by Wagah Road. The third day had Bengali style haldi and Rajasthani style myra, and an elegant Varmala ceremony on the bridge which we made over the main big pool off the hotel. Departure was also a big challenge like receiving of 350 guests, it was a departure of 7 groups one after another but 7th heaven logistic team did it swiftly and silk smoothly. It was super hit.
